HOW IT WORKS

The Commission Process

step 1 - CONSULTATION

The commission process begins with you contacting me, or using the commission form to give me as much detail about what you’re looking for. I’ll then use this information during a free consultation (via email, phone or in person) to discuss your inspiration, ideas and budget.

step 2 - BRINGING YOUR DESIGN TO LIFE

If you chose to proceed with the commission, the first instalment of £50 (Design Fee) will be required to create your bespoke design. Some commissions do not require a design fee. Within a couple of weeks, I’ll provide a design sheet with visuals of your design. The design will be fine-tuned until you’re 100% happy with it.

Once you’re happy with the design, I’ll ask for the second instalment of 50% of the total amount. Only then will I begin making your jewellery. The making process will be different for each piece but, can take up to 12 weeks.

step 3 - READY FOR YOU

Your jewellery will be handmade and finished by me in my studio in Dundee, before being hallmarked and packaged in Kirsten Manzi Jewellery packaging, ready to be securely shipped to you, or for you to collect in person. At this stage, I request the final balance payment.

TIMESCALE

I’ll give you an estimated timescale for your piece, however, please be aware that commissions usually take 6-12 weeks from start to finish.
