Two-Tone Black & Silver Ring

I love the simplicity of this silver ring. Handcrafted in 100% recycled silver this ring measures 5mm wide and consists of two polished silver edges with an oxidised centre that sits in between two hand-carved grooves.

Oxidised silver is still true sterling silver but the surface has been introduced to sulfides that create a dark black patina on the surface of the silver. It’s a sped-up version of the natural tarnishing process that can happen with silver jewellery where the silver has been purposefully turned black.

The stark contrast between the polished and oxidised silver creates a beautiful, modern, minimal ring.
